Fishbox Finish To Oil Protest
Daily Record

POLICE stormed a Greenpeace sit-in yesterday - using a fork-lift truck and a fishbox.

They arrested five protesters who chained themselves to an oil survey ship.

The activists had been on board the vessel for 17 hours in a bid to stop it carrying out tests in the Atlantic.

But their protest ended when 40 police officers swamped Ullapool harbour.

Three officers clambered into a huge fishbox, which was then lifted onto the ship, Atlantic Explorer. Four men and a woman have been charged.
